Creating Your Zen Den


In these crazy times i think more than ever we need our own head space. So make a physical yoga space free from distractions just for YOU.

You only need a small space, a private space for you to practice and BE, you are worth it. Your loved ones will also benefit from you having private time.

Create a space that you can go too that makes you feel…..aaaahhhh….then…..breathe and practice…….lush.

Don’t overthink, it just go with what feels good for you….play around and enjoy. Here are a few of my favs to set the ambience.

Yoga Equipment


A Yoga mat provides traction for your hands and feet so you don’t slip, especially as you get a little sweaty. The mat also provides a bit of cushioning on a hard floor. A regular exercise mat doesn’t have the same traction and from experience moves around too much. So a specific Yoga mat is what you’ll need.

Props allow us to maintain the healthiest alignment in a range of postures as the body bends, folds, twists and opens.

Yoga blocks and bricks are used to make you more comfortable and help your alignment. Bricks are useful for standing posture in which your hands don’t quite reach the floor.

The Yoga strap or belt acts as an extension of our arms.
